The Early Years practitioners team at Teddies on a Rainbow are a vital part of your child's development and well-being.
We have a dedicated and enthusiastic team with a high level of qualifications and a wealth of experience across all aspects of child care and the education of young children. All of the practitioners at Teddies hold an Early Years qualification, we work towards continuing professional development, undertaking a variety of courses throughout the year. We strive to keep ourselves informed of development and changes in nursery Day care education.
Helen Strange is the owner of Teddies on a Rainbow and has been working directly with young children and families for 40 years. Mrs Strange has a first class BA Honours Degree in Education, and has Early Years Professional Status. .
Mrs Strange has gained a Higher Diploma in Professional Studies in Education at University. She is the setting’s Designated Safeguarding Lead and is trained in Paediatric First Aid.
Esther Ragnoli has over 15 years experience of working with children. She is NVQ Level 3 trained and is a qualified Child Psychotherapist. She is trained in Paediatric First Aid and is also the nursery's Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Chris Smith-Page joined Teddies in 2014 and is a qualified Early Years Teacher with a BA Honours Degree in Education.
She previously worked in a local primary school for over 12 years and is experienced with supporting transitions into school from nursery. She is the nursery's Special Educational Needs Coordinator and is trained in Paediatric First Aid.
Sarah Jeal joined our team as an Early Years Practitioner in September 2018. Sarah has many years experience of supporting young children and has a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare. She is trained in Paediatric First Aid.
