Teddies on a Rainbow is a privately owned educational nursery for children between 2 years and school age.  The nursery was established in the late 1980's and is owned by Helen Strange.  The nursery has a strong focus on the holistic development of each individual child combined with the innovative approach of Reggio Emilia.  The nursery is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Heathervale Park with the use of the park environment and car parking.

Our nursery teachers plan activities by term, week and day to support and encourage individual children’s interests, learning skills and development across the learning areas identified in the Early Years Foundation Stage - Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and, Expressive Arts and Design.

Practitioners continually evaluate each child’s progress; weekly observations of the children’s play and learning activities are brought together in an individual child profile.  This helps us to assess your child's progress and to identify next steps in their learning; these are continually shared with you through parent partnership.
